Obama admitting that he wants to get rid of private insurance

UPDATE: The White House responds claiming that the quotes are misleading, but refuses to say in what way they are misleading.

"because he is talking to the American people so much there are people out there with a computer and a lot of free time and they take a phrase here and there and they simple cherry pick and put it together and make it sound like he said something that he didn't really say"
"disinformation"
"very deceiving headlines"

The problem if you listen to this entire video is that Linda Douglass never explains why the quotes that are pointed to above were taken out of context or were misleading. She just provides some other quotes. But as I understand it the point of the first video was not to deny that the president is making the claims that Douglass points to, but to show that two years ago Mr. Obama was saying that a government insurance plan would be used to replace private insurance. Indeed, the "shock" value of these older quotes was how they were in contrast to what Mr. Obama is now claiming. What was the "shock[ing]" headline that upset Douglass: "Uncovered Video: Obama explains how his health care plan will 'eliminate' private insurance." View the first video and please tell me what is inaccurate about that headline.

This is proof that everything you say is recorded when you are politician, not that we are going to a single payer system anytime soon. You work for fox news so I know which way you are biased. You like many other right sided people are trying to use fear to get what you want. The only reason we would never go to a government run program is that there are too many people on both sides of the aisle who are keeping the lobbyists happy. If you don't think you are biased post some of the stuff you wrote during one of President Bush's terms. I'm sure it spun very differently. You have an opinion that people read weather they know you or not. You have a duty to keep it unbiased. You can stop being a puppet of the right-wing whenever you would like.

Griffin, how can you spin this one way or another? The man (Obama) has an integrity problem. The man seems to change what he is saying to appease the people at that time, not realizing that his previous statements are recorded. The reason that he has an approval rating below 50% is because he LIES...you have the proof right here! How can we trust a man that outright lies. Plus, in regards to this healthcare system...look at medicare, medicade, social security...they cannot even manage that! How in the hell can they do this without running it into the ground?

The man (Obama) has a lower approval rating because people watch and listen to fox news. Fox News out right lies more in a week that Obama has probably ever. Obama is not a politician not a saint. Fox news does nothing but contradict itself and misinform the ignorant masses. The real question Mark is are you that ignorant. Are you worried that Obama wasn't born in the US or that his death panels will decide to not save your Grand Mother? Health care is in the toilet as is. We are behind Costa Rica in the W.H.O. Rankings. We don't have any place to go but up. I hope I didn't offend you to much Mark. I'm sure you a good person.
