Boycott GM?

Some info here:

A pair of right-wing radio hosts says there's only one choice for conservatives angry about government involvement in the auto industry: Boycott GM.
"Nobody wants to support an Obama company," Rush Limbaugh told his audience Friday, citing a poll showing that 17 percent of Americans backed a boycott of GM.
"Every dollar spent with GM is a dollar spent against free enterprise," conservative talker Hugh Hewitt wrote online last week. . . . .

A columnist from the Dallas Morning News admits:

The popular, controversial Limbaugh didn't outright call for a boycott, but said he understood why people would want to avoid GM vehicles. . . .

Certainly the faster GM is liquidated, the less tax-payer's cash Obama will inject into that bottomless hole. It's one thing to have a strong industry or economy; it's another to have one propped up by the taxpayer. The Soviet Union also produced cars, planes, but propped up like GM.

I find that the headline of this article is rather misleading, as neither radio talk show host actually called for a boycott.

Typical liberal propaganda.

GM and Chrysler are in the business of producing autos for sale. If folks cannot obtain a loan to purchase those products, then how are those companies supposed to survive?

Boycotting GM, or any other car company solves nothing. Perhaps we should all boycott the government...

a very disingenuous article to say the least and further proof as to why newspapers are dying. do check out the Dallas News editorial blog on the same subject to see how it was debunked by readers
