Palin's email account hacked

Hackers seem to be having a lot of fun breaking the law. Here is the AP story:

WASHINGTON -- Hackers broke into the Yahoo! e-mail account that Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin used for official business as Alaska's governor, revealing as evidence a few inconsequential personal messages she has received since John McCain selected her as his running mate.
"This is a shocking invasion of the governor's privacy and a violation of law. The matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these e-mails will destroy them," the McCain campaign said in a statement.
The Secret Service contacted The Associated Press on Wednesday and asked for copies of the leaked e-mails, which circulated widely on the Internet. The AP did not comply.

Have you heard some of the left wing spew? I just read a left wing blogger who said, "If she can't even keep her e-mail password safe how can she be trusted protect our country?"

Gotta hand it to the libs. Classy.

There are several ways her email could have been hacked and the bottom line is she should have closed her email accounts when she told McCain she would take the nomination. Email is one of the most insecure forms of communication. Most people may not know that the president does not use email, and I am sure this extends to the vice president. I hope they find out who hacked it and they can if they want. What I can't believe is that "journalists" would post it.

You can see TV journalists smirk when they report this ugly invasion of her privacy. And the media is reading, analyzing and even criticizing the governor for the content of the emails ("she uses it for government business", which is an interesting criticism given that usually people are criticized for the opposite, i.e. for using work email for personal purposes), which completes the work of the hackers. On the radio the media is reporting this attack followed by news that someone spray-painted something offensive to Obama, as if, you know 'both Palin and Obama are victims of attacks'. The left is on total war against this lady. I hope she is strong enough to survive and to fire back.
