Senator Larry Craig Arrested for disorderly conduct in June

Larry Craig has probably been the most important single Senator on the gun issue. This seems like very bad news. It appears as if he pleaded guilty to the charges. If this is true and it is truly very sad, it appears that Craig should resign from the Senate.

Sen. Larry Craig was arrested in June in Minnesota and paid $575 in fines and fees for a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, FOX News learned Monday.

A Hennepin County (Minn.) District Court spokesperson said Craig's case was put off and could be dismissed after one year of unsupervised probation. A 10-day prison sentence was stayed. . . . .

Resign from the U.S. Senate over a $575 fine for disorderly conduct? Nonsense! Disorderly conduct is the least serious violation there is! It amounts to being a little too rambunctious.
But geez, Larry! Would ya lay off the Viagra, please!
As for his personal sexual shenanigans, I couldn't care less what his tastes are. He has been a great friend of freedom for a long, long time, and is eminently deserving of the maximum amount of support if there is anyone at all on this planet so deserving!
Personally, I'm not ready to throw him out and let some commie lib take his place, so that we gun owners can get to the gulag faster. I'm not in that much of a hurry to find myself starving in a death camp in Alaska for the crime of keeping and bearing arms.
